Hey there! Long time, no talk! I have been creating a little bit here and there and wanted to share this clean and simple card with you! This card features the amazing Bohemian Borders stamp set that I just can’t get enough of and the new thick whisper white card stock from Stampin’ Up! And let me just say that this cards rock is awesome! It is the perfect weight for card bases! So onto the card!
The colors I used were Bermuda Bay, Summer Starfruit (retired) and Rich Razzleberry. I even drew a line in pencil that I erased to keep things straight, but things still look a bit wonky lol.
The sentiment is from the new set Tin of Cards and it is so versatile.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I was so excited when my cousin asked me to make some army birthday party invitations for her son. Now I can’t take all of the credit because my little cousin who is turning 8 helped me design them =) I used My Digital Studio to lay everything out and found some camo and army guy clip art online. The font that his name is in is called “Army Rust” and it is from wwww.dafont.com.
If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks!
I’m back!!! Well I finally got everything settled and I am finally ready to stamp again! It has been way too long since I have last stamped and it has been really great to be creative again. I got my pre-order from the new catalog which will launch on June 2nd. I pulled out the new stamp set called You’ve Got This. I started with a base of Kraft cardstock and then layered a piece Typeset DSP on Basic Black. Next, I stamped the flower in Melon Mambo. A retired Coastal Cabana tied with some Linen Thread completes the card.
So this was a set that I was not sold on originally, but I am so glad I got it. The set has some really great sayings and a great crosshatch background. Be sure to check it out!
Wow it has been a long time since I last posted. I am currently moving so all my stampin stuff is boxed up and put away, but I hope to have it back out soon and blogging soon! I made this card before everything got out away and I just love it. The base is crumb cake and the dots for the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Best Day Ever were clear embossed on Hello Honey cardstock. The Hey is embossed with white on a Melon Mambo Starburst framelit and a couple gray accents complete the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to be stamping again soon!
My cousin recently had a baby and I needed to get a card in the mail A.S.A.P! I made this quick 3×3 card to send to her. I layered a piece of Melon Mambo that was embossed with the large circle embossing folder and layered on a piece of Kraft cardstock. Next, I stamped the owl from the retired set Fox & Friends in Melon Mambo and layered it on a Coastal Cabana scallop and added two Daffodil Delight banners that were punched with the small banner punch. Thanks for stopping by!
So today I wanted to share my Christmas card this year. Every year I really enjoy designing my Christmas card and making them. In total, I make about 50, which is not too overwhelming. This year, I chose my favorite Kraft cardstock base and then embossed a piece of luscious Blackberry Bliss with the Mosaic Embossing Folder. I added a champagne glitter paper star (even thought it doesn’t look champagne in the picture!). Finally, the sentiment is from the set Good Greetings.
I also wanted to share a Christmas card that my friend make. She used a Crumb Cake card base and some DSP from the Holiday Catalog. To keep this card quick and easy, she used the Banner Framelit to make cutting the banners a snap. A bit of Baker’s Twine and a Glimmer star bring the card all together. I think she did an amazing job! It is so nice to get hand made Christmas cards!
Well I got my preorder from the new 2015 Occasions Catalog the other day and have had a lot of fun playing with the new products. One stamp set that I got was the background stamp called Something Lacy. I first stamped the stamp in the black Memento ink. I then used the Blendabilties to color the stamp. So this was my first time ever using Stampin’ Up!’s Blendabilities and actually first time ever using an alcohol based marker. I am in love! The ink lays down on the paper so smooth. It is so much fun to color with these markers. For this card, I used Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Old Olive, but I can’t wait to get more colors!
So I recently started a new job and I wanted to make a small little gift for my new teammates. I bought some Dove chocolate, and while I am not a huge chocolate person, man those caramel filled ones are AH-Mazing! So I put the chocolates in clear cello bag and added a little tag. I still have tons of Kraft cardstock scraps left over from my Christmas cards so this was a perfect time to use some more of those scraps! I used the smallest star framelit from the Stars Framelits collection and punched those out in the Champagne Glimmer Paper. Those were then backed on small circle punched from Very Vanilla. I then tied the simple tags on to the bags with some Linen Thread. Simple and easy!
Until next time…happy stampin’!
So you know every month Stampin’ Up! releases a new photopolymer stamp set. One that they released a while ago was the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set. I finally got around to getting it and I am so glad I did. The main stamp of this set is the little cake below which is so fun to color with Blender Pens or even Blendabilities. But that’s not all, the set comes with so many fabulous words! You can create so many different phrases and greetings.
So the card below was cased from Kimberly Van Dipen. Her style is so amazing so be sure to check out her blog HERE! I used the stamp from the set Work of Art to loosely color the cake and then also used the chevron stamp from the same set. I am in love with that font! The card is mounted on a piece of Old Olive and a base of Pool Party.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy stamping!
