Stampin’ Up! Twine Lollie

2 cards today!! The first one is for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. I started with a base of Soft Suede and added layers of Very Vanilla and Pool Party. Next, I created a twine lollie. I first punched out a large circle and then put adhesive all over it. I then wound the twine around the circle. I added a couple banners from some retired DSP and then also created a banner for the sentiment. The sentiment comes from the set Sweet Essentials and was stamped in the soon to be retired color More Mustard.

Ok, one more card and I have to say, I am not in love with this card. But ok, whatever =) I created this card for the sketch at CAS on Sunday. I started with a base of Smoky Slate and added a panel of Melon Mambo that was embossed with the Chevron embossing folder. I added a flag of the Silver Glimmer Paper. I stamped the “So Worth The Wait” in Basic Gray and added a bit of White Baker’s Twine. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Your cards are lovely, but I really adore your first card. The twine lollie is perfect with your lovely colour combo that you’ve used! Thanks for playing along with my sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

  2. That twine lollipop is so cool! I love natural elements like this because they add such wonderful texture! And the Spice Cake paper just adds to the lovely warm feel of your card. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
