Stampin’ Up! Simple Birthday with DSP

So I had two New Year’s resolutions relating to stamping this year. The first one is to be a part of a challenge blog and…I have some great new so stay tuned for the big announcement later this week! My second resolution was to use more DSP since I have a bit of a stash. I love creating simple cards where the DSP is the focus of the card. There are so many papers with great patterns and vibrant colors. This sketch comes from the Freshly Made Sketches blog and is great for a simple card. The base layer is Baked Brown Sugar which is probably my favorite color of the new in colors with Coastal Cabana a very close second. I also used a birthday sentiment from the retired set Upsy Daisy for the birthday challenge at Stampin’ Royalty. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love how you let the DSP take center stage on your card then added some great texture with the twine and a simple sentiment. This is a great card! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. That DSP is so pretty it deserves such a prominent place on your card! Love the colors and accessories you’ve chosen. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
