Stampin’ Up! Stars Mask

Hello!

I hope you are having a good week so far. Last night I had some friends over for a stampin’ night and it was so much fun. It is always fun to get together and create. I recently found out that my cousin is having a baby so I wanted to mail her a little card to tell her congratulations. It is always so much fun to get something in the mail. I started out with a base of Coastal Cabana and then used some Fiber Paste over the Stars Mask to create some little white hearts on the background. If you don’t have Fiber Paste, another option would be to use White Craft Ink on the stars. Next, I pulled out my favorite baby set, Fox & Friends, and stamped the giraffe in Bermuda Bay.  I added a small banner and a Tangerine Tango retired button. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Polka Dot Congrats

Hello!

I hope your weekend is going well so far! I needed a congratulations card to send to someone who recently retired. I used the small dot from the set Work of Art to create a polka dot background which was layered on a piece of retired Summer Starfruit and Basic Gray. Next, I added a cut out from a set of framelits with a Smoky Slate banner on top. A small flower with a rhinestone completes the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Quick & Easy Father’s Day Card

Hello!

For my last stampin’ night, I made a quick and easy Father’s Day card. I started with a base of Sahara Sand and added some Basic Gray DSP which was layered on some Gumball Green cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the retired set Delightful Dozen and popped it out with a Word Bubble Framelit. A couple brads add some guy-ish embellishments. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Masculine Congratulations

Hello!

I got in a bit of stampin’ last night while watching TV. My cousin asked me to create a couple masculine graduation cards so I whipped these up really quick. I couldn’t quite figure out what I wanted to do so I just kept it clean and simple. I pulled out some Gumball Green cardstock (soon to be retired) and added a layer of Epic Day DSP that had a bit of a masculine feel. The sentiment is from the set Delightful Dozen (retired) and is stamped in Basic Gray. I small metal button tied with some Baker’s Twine finished off the card. Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you can create something today!

Stampin’ Up! Mother’s Day Card

Hello and it is sure a beautiful day today! And even better, it is the last Saturday of tax season!! Woo hoo! So hopefully I will have a bit more time to stamp coming up. My friend and I stamped last night and I created this Mother’s Day card for my mom. I started out with a base of Crumb Cake and stamped the Dictionary background stamp on it. I pulled out some retired DSP and ribbon. I colored the flower stamp with my markers in Melon Mambo and Old Olive and the flower is from the set Oh, Hello. The sentiment is from the retired set Word Play. A couple accents like button tied with Linen Thread and a small Pearl add a bit of dimension to the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Easter Flowers

Hello!

I hope your week is going well so far! I had stampin’ night the other night and one of the cards to make was this Easter card. I got a bit of inspiration for Pinterest. I used the set Summer Silhouettes and stamped the flower in Sahara Sand, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana. I then stamped the centers of the flowers and the sentiment in Basic Gray. The sentiment is from the retired set Delightful Dozen, but it is my only Easter stamp so I had to use it! I pulled out some Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon and tied it around the card. This card is also for the challenge at SU Only since it to create an Easter themed card! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Stampin’ Up! Owl Congratulations

Hello and happy Sunday! Well, there is nothing like living in the Midwest. Yesterday it was 70 degrees and today it is sleeting…=( So since I am stuck inside, I wanted to share a card I made this week for my cousin who just announced that they are expecting a baby! I started out with a base of Crumb Cake and then added another layer that I embossed with clear embossing powder and the Simply Stars stamp set. Next, I added a large circle and stamped the owl from the set Fox & Friends in Summer Starfruit. I added a small button tied with some Baker’s Twine and also a banner with the congratulations from the set Delightful Dozen. I am submitting this card at the challenge Anything Goes at Stampin’ For the Weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Stampin’ Up! Be My Valentine

Hello!

I am combining two challenges on this card! I used the color combination from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the sketch layout from Create With Connie and Mary, two great challenge blogs combined on one card! I think the colors called for a Valentine’s Day lovey-dovey card =) I started out with a base of Coastal Cabana and stamped the Chevron background stamp in Versamark to give it just a hint of chevron. I found some Primrose Petals cardstock in my stash (news to me!) and flagged the ends and glued a Tea Lace Doily on top of that. Next, I pulled out my favorite punch, the Decorative Label Punch, and stamped the retired “Be my Valentine” stamp from the set Delightful Dozen. I used the Small Heart punch to pop up a heart and then added a Wisteria Wonder heart from the set Hearts A Flutter. Thanks for stopping!

Stampin’ Up! Get Well Soon

Hello!

Well we are expecting about 10 inches of snow today so what a great day to crank out some cards! The challenge at 4 Craft Chicks was to create a get well card.  It always seems that you need a get well soon card quickly so it is always nice to have some on hand. I kept this card gender-neutral and pretty simple so that I can really send it to anyone. I started out with a base of Crumb Cake and added some retired DSP. I added a a couple flags in Basic Gray and Pool Party while the Pool Party one was embossed with the Honeycomb embossing folder. The sentiment comes from the retired set Delightful Dozen. I glimmer brad adds one last touch. Thanks for stopping by!
