Stampin’ Up! Christmas Cards

So today I wanted to share my Christmas card this year. Every year I really enjoy designing my Christmas card and making them. In total, I make about 50, which is not too overwhelming. This year, I chose my favorite Kraft cardstock base and then embossed a piece of luscious Blackberry Bliss with the Mosaic Embossing Folder. I added a champagne glitter paper star (even thought it doesn’t look champagne in the picture!). Finally, the sentiment is from the set Good Greetings.

I also wanted to share a Christmas card that my friend make. She used a Crumb Cake card base and some DSP from the Holiday Catalog. To keep this card quick and easy, she used the Banner Framelit to make cutting the banners a snap. A bit of Baker’s Twine and a Glimmer star bring the card all together. I think she did an amazing job! It is so nice to get hand made Christmas cards!

Creation Station: Fall Themed Projects!

Creation Station Header-001

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying the blog hop and getting some good ideas! This round we are featuring fall & harvest themed projects! While I do not yet have any of the fall sets from the new catalog (they are on my list!), I used a couple current sets to make some fall cards. I pulled out the leaves from the set Kinda Eclectic and colored it with Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Early Espresso markers.  I stamped that on a sheet of Natural Cardstock that was lightly stamped with the set Dictionary. The sentiment is from the set Good Greetings. I just love that font!!

For my next card, I used the feather stamp from the set A Happy Hooray. Clean and simple is my style =) The feathers are stamped in Pool Party, Chocolate Chip and Tangerine Tango.

Stampin’ Up! High Five

Well it is Friday and I can’t be more excited. We are going to see the Zac Brown Band tonight in concert and the low is supposed to be like 48 degrees! Time to break out the coat! So I wanted to share a card with you that I made the other day. Sorry for the messy picture though. I used the new set High Five. The first time I saw this set I glossed over it, but after looking at it more closely, I notice it had a lot of great elements in it. That frame is perfect and it coordinates nicely with the Ovals Framelits. I layered everything including a frame embossed with Pool Party and a Tea Lace Doily on a piece of Kraft cardstock.  The sentiment is from the awesome set Good Greetings and it is available only if you have a party and sales reach $300. So get some friends together and have a party! This is a great time to order supplies for Christmas Cards!

Stampin’ Up! Simple Love Note

I am back with another simple card today. I used on of my favorite color combinations, Basic Gray, Old Olive and Melon Mambo. I used the word bubble framelit to cut out a small bubble and the punched a heart in the middle of it. I popped that up on a piece of Naturals cardstock and added the simple sentiment “I love us” from the hostess set Good Greetings underneath. Thanks for stopping by!

I love us
