Stampin’ Up! Love With Hearts

I created this card for my first ever Stampin’ Club Night. I was trying to use some non-traditional colors. I pulled out the really old Crosshatch background and stamped it on a base of Coastal Cabana. I cut a couple hearts out from the Hearts A Flutter stamp set and added a bit of gray ribbon. The little “love you” is from the set Bitty Banners. This card is perfect for the challenge at Addicted to CAS. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to create a cute card for your special someone for Valentine’s Day.

Stampin’ Up! Be My Valentine

I am combining two challenges on this card! I used the color combination from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the sketch layout from Create With Connie and Mary, two great challenge blogs combined on one card! I think the colors called for a Valentine’s Day lovey-dovey card =) I started out with a base of Coastal Cabana and stamped the Chevron background stamp in Versamark to give it just a hint of chevron. I found some Primrose Petals cardstock in my stash (news to me!) and flagged the ends and glued a Tea Lace Doily on top of that. Next, I pulled out my favorite punch, the Decorative Label Punch, and stamped the retired “Be my Valentine” stamp from the set Delightful Dozen. I used the Small Heart punch to pop up a heart and then added a Wisteria Wonder heart from the set Hearts A Flutter. Thanks for stopping!

Stampin’ Up! Thankful For You

We are getting closer to Valentine’s Day so I have a Valentine’s Day card to show you! I made this for the challenge at The Friday Mashup.  I used a neutral base of Crumb Cake and stamped the heart outline from the set Hearts A Flutter in Real Red and Coastal Cabana.  Next I added the sentiment banner from the Hostess set Banner Greetings and a simple red ribbon. Pretty simple! Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Spice Cake DSP

Happy Monday, hope everyone had a good weekend. I made this card earlier last week for the sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts and the deadline is this morning so I am squeezing it in really quick. The base of the card is Baked Brown Sugar and I layered some retired Spice Cake DSP on top. Next, I added some natural ribbon and punched a circle out. I paper pierced that and then cut a Pool Party heart out using the Hearts A Flutter Framelits. I added a retired Pool Party button tied with some Linen Thread. The congratulations stamp comes from the set Delightful Dozen and is punched out using the Decorative Label punch. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Stampin’ Up! Hello, Baby

My cousin came over to stamp last night and I had such a great time! It is always so enjoyable when you can share your love for stamping with someone. We created a bunch of cards and I wanted to share one. We created a gender neutral so we used Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Summer Starfruit. We stamped the owl from the set Fox and Friends and paired it with the Hello, Baby from the set Sweet Essentials. Next we stamped the banners from the set Hearts A Flutter and used the coordinating framelits to cut them out. The background seemed like it needed something so we stamped the Dictionary stamp in Pool Party. Thanks for stopping by!Hello Baby

Stampin’ Up! Hearts A Flutter Background

Hi there!

So the month of July is going to be super busy with bridal showers so I am trying to get a head start on some cards. I came across the sketch at Hand Stamped Sentiments and knew exactly what I wanted to do. I started out by embossing a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and layered that on a card base of Crumb Cake. I pulled out the heart outline from the set Hearts A Flutter and randomly stamped it in Pool Party, Summer Starfruit and Crumb Cake on a piece of Very Vanilla. Next, I added a couple flags behind the Vanilla layer. I stamped the Congratulations from the set Sweet Essentials in Soft Suede on a Crumb Cake banner. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Anniversary Card with Hearts A Flutter

My husband and I are celebrating our two year anniversary next week so I whipped up this card for him. I found the perfect sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch and took the sketch pretty literally.  I started out with a base of Pool Party and stamped the ink splatter stamp (from My Paper Pumpkin) in Pool Party and then stamped it again without re-inking to give it a lighter look. I hardly ever heat emboss because it always seems like I end up with embossing powder everywhere, but it is a really nice touch. I embossed the chevron heart from the set Hearts A Flutter in white on Lucky Limeaid cardstock and cut out with the coordinating framelit. Next, I stamped the Love You stamp (from the Love Your Guts stamp from My Paper Pumpkin) in Lucky Limeaid and made a cute banner. Finally, I tied a bit of Pool Party Baker’s Twine around the top. Thanks for stopping by and if you like what you see, I would love it if you would follow my blog! Have a great day!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Anniversary Hearts

I will be needing some anniversary cards in the near future so I thought the challenge at Techno Stamper this week was perfect. I started with a base of Basic Gray and added some Melon Mambo DSP. I backed that on a piece of Basic Gray that was punched with the scallop edge punch. I wanted a bit of a pop, so I punched out a scallop in the Silver Glimmer Paper and added a white circle on top. Using the awesome Hearts A Flutter Framlelits, I punched out two hearts in Melon Mambo and Basic Gray and added a small rhinestone. The sentiment comes from the set Memorable Moments. Since the card has a scallop punch and a scallop border, it also fits in with the challenge at Less Is More this week. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Hearts A Flutter and Framelits

Hi there!

I came across the sketch challenge over at Sketch Frenzy Friday and instantly knew what I wanted to do with it. I love pairing Pool Party and Crumb Cake together and added Raspberry Ripple for a bit of pop. The strip of Designer Series Paper comes from the new kit Sent With Love and is awesome! I added a bit of White Baker’s Twine around that. I stamped the various hearts and used the coordinating framelits from the Hearts A Flutter bundle to punch them out. I cut out a “U” to finish off the card. Happy stampin’!

Stampin’ Up! Hearts A Flutter Banner

Hope you are having a great weekend. Today I created a card for the sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch. This card came together pretty quickly by using the color scheme Basic Gray, Summer Starfruit and Rich Razzleberry. The flag is from the set Hearts A Flutter and the Happy Birthday is from he set Made For You. Thanks for stopping by!
