Stampin’ Up! Madison Avenue & Punches

Hello!

Happy Friday! Are you looking forward to the weekend as much as I am? Well anyway, I really liked how the card I made the other week using a similar design so I pulled my inspiration from there. The colors are from the latest Pals Paper Arts color challenge. I decided to keep this card really clean and simple by stamping the flower design from Madison Avenue in Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake. I punched out the little flowers from the Punch Pack and added a small rhinestone to the center of each. The sentiment comes from the set Wishes Your Way. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Madison Avenue

Hello!

Hope you had a great weekend! Today I made a card for the challenge at Stampin’ Celebration. I started out with a base of Basic Gray. I really love the stamp from the set Madison Avenue. It makes it so easy to create patters. I stamped that three times in Basic Gray. Next I punched out a couple small flowers using the Punch Pack from Summer Starfruit, Smoky Slate and Pool Party and added a rhinestone to the center of each one. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the set Lacy & Lovely. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Wish Big

Hello!

Late post tonight, but I wanted to share a card. I loved the sketch challenge at Clean&Simple. I used a base of Crumb Cake and then added another layer of Crumb Cake popped up on dimensionals. I tucked a bit Coastal Cabana ribbon behind and added a strip of Basic Gray. I pulled out the flower stamp from the set Madison Avenue and stamped it in Crumb Cake, lining it up with the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I pulled out the Wish Big sentiment from the Word Play and stamped it in Basic Gray. I added a couple punched flower in Coastal Cabana. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Madison Avenue

Hello!

Hope you are having a great Memorial Day! I kind of forgot about my Madison Avenue set and coordinating DSP, so I got it out for this card. I used the sketch from the blog Sketch Frenzy Friday. I started off with a base of Rich Razzleberry and added a piece of the retired Sale-A-Bration DSP. Next I cut out a Summer Starfruit scallop with the Large Scallop punch and paper pierced the edges. The stamps are from the set Madison Avenue and I added a Pool Party button tied with some Baker’s Twine. To finish off the card, I added an Island Indigo flag. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Madison Avenue…Again!

Hello!

Well, we are almost to 2013 so I hope everyone has a fun and safe New Year’s Eve. Today I created a card for the sketch over at Retro Sketches. I just love their sketches. I started out with a base of Sahara Sand and added a small strip of Designer Series Paper which will be available during Sale-A-Bration. I then layered a piece of Sahara Sand on Whisper White and stamped the image from Madison Avenue which will also be available during SAB. The Thank You is from a new set, Wishes Your Way, in the new Spring Catalog which will debut in just a couple of days. Next, I cut out the scalloped flag in Island Indigo from the new framelits (also available in the Spring Catalog) which coordinate with the new set, Hearts A Flutter. I added a Tangerine Tango button and a bit of Baker’s Twine to finish off the card. Thanks for stopping by! Happy New Year!

Stampin’ Up! Madison Avenue

Hello!

So for the first time, I created a card for the sketch at Mojo Monday. As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to use the circle in the new Madison Avenue set that is going to be available during Sale-A-Bration. Of course, the hardest part was lining up those circles. I scaled down the sketch and made the Pool Party base 4″ by 4″.25. The DSP is another fabulous design for Sycamore Street which is will also be available during Sale-A-Bration. I can see that I will ordering another pack of that paper! Another Sale-A-Bration goodie is the ribbon. The ribbon is shiny and silky and adds the perfect touch. There is just a bit of Tangerine Tango in the DSP so the ribbon compliments that. The sentiment is from the set Wishes Your Way which will be available in January. I just punched it out using the Fancy Label punch. After I sat back and looked at this card, I felt like the circles need a bit of something in the middle..they just looked too much like wreaths to me, LOL. I played around with buttons and rhinestones, but finally settled on some retired white brads. I liked that they blended into the background so they were not jumping out at you, but also filled up the space in the middle. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Madison Avenue

Hi!

I created this card for the sketch over at Unscripted Sketches. I used a new stamp set called Madison Avenue that will be available during Sale-a-Bration. It has a cute stamp that has four “flower” images that I stamped in a line vertically to make a pattern. The sentiment comes from the set Lacy & Lovely. Thanks for looking!
