Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Madness & New Stamp Set

Hello!

So I sat down to stamp the other night and I have had the circle idea in my head for a while. I just had to figure out what to do with the rest of the card! On a Coastal Cabana circle, I heat embossed the mosaic stamp from the set Mosaic Madness in white embossing powder. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line everything up. Next, I layered a piece of Smoky Slate ribbon and a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock all on a base of the amazing Kraft cardstock. A few rhinestones finished off the card.

Stampin’ Up! Swap

Hello and happy Monday (that is like an oxymoron). A couple weeks ago Stampin’ Up! announced that they are having a new catalog launch even for demostrators! I had decided that if there was launch party close to me, that I would attend because I have never been to a Stampin’ Up! event before! It is really a neat idea because everyone gathers at these movie theaters across the United States and Canada and via streaming, we all get to go through the catalog and see all of the new and exciting products!

A couple people attending said that they would be making swaps so I decided to make some swaps to. My first ever swap! I picked a card that I had made recently that would be easy to mass produce and included a lot of my favorite products…Crumb Cake cardstock, Mosaic Madness, the sentiment font from set Lovely & Lacy (love that font!!!).

I even made a label for the back with my blog address and made the font colors coordinate with the colors used on the front. Be sure to check out my post on Stampin’ Up! RGB codes to see how I did that. To add a bit of extra fun to the label, I stamped the little flower from the set Summer Silhouettes in Summer Starfruit. Oh, and a big thanks to my cousin for helping me out in a pinch and giving me some labels =) If you are into fonts like I am, the two fonts I used below are Honey Script and Throw My Hands Up In The Air. I love finding fun fonts to make any project extra special.

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Mosaic

Hello!

Well it has been a little while since I last posted. Work has been a bit crazy with tax season and when I get home, I just can’t seem to get in the crafty mood. But tonight I was determined to make a card, so I stayed in my comfort zone with a clean and simple card with Crumb Cake cardstock. I used one of my favorite stamp sets Mosaic Madness a created a bit of a background. Next, I cut out the shape with the Labels Framelits and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. The sentiment is from a previous My Paper Pumpkin kit and is stamped in Bermuda Bay. I have been choosing Coastal Cabana a lot lately over Bermuda Bay, so I dusted that color off and gave it some love. A summer starfruit banner stamped with the Dictionary background stamp is tucked behind the main image. A small bow of Linen Thread adds an accent to the top while a small Pearl balances it out. Side note: This is my first time every using a Pearl on a card (I just recently ordered them) and I love them! I can’t believe I went so long with out using these! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you have a day filled with family, friends and good food! I created a simple card for the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. The challenge was to use 8 of something. I used 8 stamps on my card and of course kept it clean and simple! I used a base of Coastal Cabana and then a layer of Basic Gray. I stamped the images from the set Mosaic Madness in the same colors with a pop Crushed Curry. I added the sentiment from the set Four You on a small flag and a couple rhinestones. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Madness

Hello!

So I made a card last night for the challenge at Stampin’ Royalty, but forgot to take a picture and guess what, I missed the deadline…oh well! So I am going to submit it over at Inkspirational for the challenge Anything Goes! I remembered seeing this layout using the stamp set Mosaic Madness a while ago and the picture at Stampin’ Royalty jogged my memory. I like to give credit where credit is due and I believe I first saw this at Stamped Silly. I used a base of Early Espresso and then a layer of Taken With Teal (retired). Next, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I lined up the mosaic stamps. Using a ruler, I drew a line with my Early Espresso marker and then stamped the Hello from the set Four You. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Madness

Hello!

Ugh, I have not had a good day today. My day went south right from the start when I had car trouble on the way to work and then a lot of money to fix it, but I wanted to share this card because it makes me happy =) LOL I started out with a base of Coastal Cabana and then a layer of Basic Gray. On the layer of Whisper White, I stamped the images from the set Mosaic Madness in Coastal Cabana and Basic Gray. I added a couple flower punched using the tiny punch from the Punch Pack and added a bit of bling with some rhinestones. Next I created I Crushed Curry flag and stamped the mosaic looking stamp from the set Summer Silhouettes. I also added a bit of ruffled Coastal Cabana ribbon and a retired silver button (from the Clearance Rack!) to finish off the card. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a great day!

Stampin’ Up! Mosiac Madness

Hello!

I am in love with the color combination at Color Q this week. I really did not think I liked these colors together, but once I started stamping with them, it is really a fun combination. I think these colors call for a bolder stamp so I pulled out the Mosaic Madness stamp set. Using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I lined up the stamps, alternating colors. The sentiment comes from the set Delightful Dozen (retired). I back the card on a base of Elegant Eggplant (because I don’t have any Concord Crush). Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mosiac Madness

Hello!

Have you seen the color challenge over at Color Q? At first I did think I liked the combination, I am not a big fan of Island Indigo, but after I studied it a bit more, it is actually a really, really great color combo! I wanted to make a design with the Mosaic Madness stamp set. Using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I lined up the stamps alternating colors. I backed that on a layer of Lucky Limeaid (retired) and a base of Island Indigo. I added a flag and stamped the Thank You from the Four You set on it in Raspberry Ripple. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mosiac Madness Fusion

Hi there!

If you haven’t been over to the Fusion Card Challenge blog before, go check it out! I love this challenge because there are so many possibilities each week. For this week, I actually did a fusion and used both the picture and the sketch for inspiration. I pulled my colors from the picturing focusing on the colors that resembled Bermuda Bay, Lucky Limeaid, Melon Mambo and Pool Party. Then I got to work on the sketch by layer the strips on the Bermuda Bay base. I stamped the mosaics from the set Mosaic Madness and punched them out with the coordinating punch. I added a rhinestone to the middles and tied a bit of Pool Party Baker’s Twine around the top. The sentiment comes from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit and I just love it! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Fusion challenge!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Madness

Hello!

I have just a quick post for you today. I created this card using the new In Color Coastal Cabana. It pairs really nicely with Rich Razzleberry. I ran a piece of Rich Razzleberry through the Big Shot with the Mosaic Embossing Folder and then stamped two of the mosaics and punched them out with the coordinating punch. I just love this product suite because everything coordinates. Thanks for stopping by!
