Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hi!

I have another card to share with you today! I love the set Raining Flowers and even though it is retired, I wanted to make a card with it =) Of course, I started with kraft cardstock as my base and then embossed another layer with the large circle embossing folder.  I fussy cut the flower to popped the pieces up with Dimensionals. The sentiment is from the retired set Apple Blossoms. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hello and happy Friday!

I am so glad that the weekend is almost here! I am looking forward to this three day weekend! I did a little bit of stampin’ last night I made this card for the following challenges: CASology, The Paper Players, and Simply Less Is More. I have not participated in a challenge in a while so it felt good to do so. I started out with a base of Crumb Cake and spritzed it with Basic Gray ink. Next, I stamped the flower from the set Raining Flowers and added the sentiment which was from a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit. I tucked a bit of Crushed Curry behind the main layer and then added some Epic Day Washi Tape.

Stampin’ Up! No Designer Series Paper for 4CC!

Hello!

I just love being on the design team for the 4 Crafty Chicks. This weeks challenge was no designer series paper which should not be too hard. I started out with a base of Crumb Cake and stamped my favorite background stamp, Dictionary, in Crumb Cake ink. Next, I added a layer of Coastal Cabana and a layer of Very Vanilla. I stamped the flower from the set Raining Flowers and the sentiment from the set Four You. I cute vintage button with some Baker’s Twine finished off the card! Thanks so much and be sure to play with 4CC this week!

Stampin’ Up! Thank You!

Hello!

Isn’t it nice to sometimes just sit down and make a simple card? Since the challenge at The Paper Players this week was to make a CAS Thankful for spring card, I chose to use one of my favorite sets Raining Flowers. I started with a base of Crumb Cake and added a layer of Summer Starfruit. Next up, I colored the flower with my markers and stamped the Thank You from the set Four You. After rounding the edges, the card was finished. Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to stamp today!

Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hello!

This week I have been on a kick using the Raining Flowers set. I just love the stamps in the this set. Do you ever find a set that you just can’t put down? So the challenge at the Friday Mashup was to create a project using flowers so this was perfect. I started with a base of Crumb Cake and then stamped the flowers in Coastal Cabana and Summer Starfruit. I added a strip with the Birthday Wishes from the set Four You since it never seems like I have enough birthday cards. I wanted a bit of a vintage feel so I sponged some Crumb Cake ink around the edges and used the Spritzer tool.

Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Don’t you just love it when a card you pictured in your head comes together! That is what happened for this card. I saw the sketch at The Friday Mashup and new exactly what I wanted to do.  I started with a base of Crumb Cake and stamped it with the Dictionary background stamp. Using the Apothecary Accents framelits, I cut out the large shape from some Coastal Cabana cardstock and since I was going for a bit of a vintage-y feel I sponged this layer with Crumb Cake and added a couple small brads. I pulled out the set Raining Flowers and colored the flower with markers and also sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla oval. Next, I added a couple small flags and stamped the sentiment from the set Four You. Finally, I added a small button that I had left over from the Burlap and Blooms Wreath Kit. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!

Stampin’ Up! In Color Raining Flowers

Hello!

For today’s card I combined two challenges, a sketch challenge from Deconstructing Sketches and a color challenge from Stampin’ Up!. I started with a base of basic Gray and added a layer that was embossed with the Honeycomb folder. Next I added a piece of some awesome crosshatch Calypso Coral DSP from the Sent With Love pack and a strip of Pool Party with some Pool Party Baker’s Twine wrapped around it. Next I rounded two corners on a piece of Whisper White and and stamped the flower image from the set Raining Flowers. I colored the little leaves in with a blender pen which is such a great technique that I need to use more often. Next I added a couple half circles that were punched out of some Lucky Limeaid cardstock. Finally, a retired Sale-A-Bration button finished off the card. This is such a great color challenge and I am so happy that Pool Party and Calypso Coral are returning as core colors (just wish Lucky Limeaid was too!). I also love the fact that Stampin’ Up! gave us a color challenge! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Springtime Raining Flowers

Hello!

Today I have a springtime card to share. I started out with the sketch from the Paper Craft Crew and the color inspiration from Stamp Away With Me’s Monday Moodboard. I started with a base of Crumb Cake and added a couple rectangles of DSP from the Sent With Love pack. I thought that the diamond pattern kind of matched the one on the Monday Moodboard. Next, I stamped the flower image from the set Raining Flowers in Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeaid and added the sentiment from the Made For You set. Next I punched out a couple circles using a hole punch from Calypso Coral cardstock and added them to the card. I finally made a bow with some Daffodil Delight Seam Binding and added a Pool Party button to the middle. This card also reminds me of Spring because of the colors and the flower so it works perfect for the Spring challenge at SU Only challenges. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hello,

I have been wanting to play along with the sketch challenge at Create With Connie and Mary, but just have not got to it, so I am squeezing it in tonight. I started with a layer of Crumb Cake and added a layer of Summer Starfuit. From the set Raining Flowers, I cut out some flowers stamped in Rich Razzleberry and stamped a couple more on a piece of Whisper White in Summer Starfuit. After adding a couple flags, I added a button tied with some twine. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hi there!

Today I have a card that I created the Paper Players color challenge and the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew blog. This is a great color combination and reminds me of spring so I wanted to use some sort of flower for the focal point. I started out with a base of Early Esspresso and then embossed another piece of Espresso using the Square Lattice embossing folder. Next I pulled out the flower from the set Raining Flowers and colored it in Pool Party and Lucky Limeaid and also stamped the sentiment in Early Esspresso from the set Made For You. I have to admit, I am not a huge fan of the color Regal Rose so I actually don’t have the ink pad, but I did manage to find a scrap of some cardstock to create the flag with. I also added a Pool Party Button tied with some Baker’s Twine and then finished the card off with some Lucky Limeiad ruffled ribbon. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
