Stampin’ Up! Distressed Honeycomb Embossing Folder

Hope you are having a great week so far. Last night, I sat down and created a couple cards. The one that I will share today is for the “Texture” challenge at Crafty Creations. I first started out with a base of Basic Gray and a layer of Summer Starfruit. I wanted to add some texture on my next layer so I stamped the Dictionary stamp in Basic Gray and sponged the edged of the cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Next I ran that layer through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing folder and then sponged a bit more Crumb Cake ink on top. Next I stamped the sentiment from Vintage Verses in Basic Gray and cut it out with the Labels Framelits. From here. I added a piece of Natural Ribbon. To finish off the card, I added a strip of Washi Tape, a scrap of Bermuda Bay ribbon and a couple Candy Dots. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Verses

Quick post tonight! I found a new challenge blog called Perfect Sentiments. The challenge this week was “Anything Goes” so basically your card just had to have a sentiment on the front! Easy enough! I started by layer Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso and Sahara Sand. I roughed up the edges with my scissors and sponged some Crumb Cake ink around the edges to distress it. I stamped the sentiment from the set Vintage Verses in Early Espresso and colored in the You with my Rich Razzleberry marker. I used my Sahara Sand marker in the Spritzer for a spotty look and tied some twine around the card. Thanks for stopping by!
