Stampin’ Up! Wedding Rich Razzleberry

Hello!

So from time to time, I create invitations for friends or family. I had the honor of making these wedding invitations not too long ago. I just love using the set Baroque Motifs for wedding invitations. I even used it on my own invitations!

Bridal Shower

Good morning!

So for today’s post,  I have a couple of pictures from a bridal shower. I recently had the privilege of being the matron-of-honor for my friend’s wedding. I was extremely excited that I got to help plan her shower. Below are the invitations I made for the shower. I used the retired “Upsy Daisy” stamp set that I just love and will never get rid of =).

I also used a stamp to create the band for around the vase. I used the jumbo wheel “Wedding Words” and stamped it on Pool Party cardstock. One of my tips for creating centerpieces on a budget is instead of using vase fillers which can add up quickly, use of piece of vellum cardstock in its place. Just cut the vellum to fit inside the vase and it neatly hides all the stems and gives the vase a frosted look!

I have been seeing a ton of pictures online for those neat pictures that spell a word such as “Family” and I thought why could I not do that with a wedding date? So, I started to keep a look out for numbers such as on license plates, house numbers or even on clocks to create my frame. My friend got married on August 18, 2012.

Ok, ok enough pictures right? But, just a couple more crafty ones!

Thanks for stopping by!
