Hey there! Long time, no talk! I have been creating a little bit here and there and wanted to share this clean and simple card with you! This card features the amazing Bohemian Borders stamp set that I just can’t get enough of and the new thick whisper white card stock from Stampin’ Up! And let me just say that this cards rock is awesome! It is the perfect weight for card bases! So onto the card!
The colors I used were Bermuda Bay, Summer Starfruit (retired) and Rich Razzleberry. I even drew a line in pencil that I erased to keep things straight, but things still look a bit wonky lol.
The sentiment is from the new set Tin of Cards and it is so versatile.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hello!! I am back with another card to share. The first card I made with my new supplies was this thank you card. I am in love with the colors of this new DSP. I used a base ofBlavkberry Bliss and stamped the diamond shape in Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, and Crushed Curry. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow it has been a long time since I last posted. I am currently moving so all my stampin stuff is boxed up and put away, but I hope to have it back out soon and blogging soon! I made this card before everything got out away and I just love it. The base is crumb cake and the dots for the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Best Day Ever were clear embossed on Hello Honey cardstock. The Hey is embossed with white on a Melon Mambo Starburst framelit and a couple gray accents complete the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to be stamping again soon!
Here is another card that we made at stampin’ night. This card was cased from a sample in the new 2015 Occasions catalog which will go live on January 6th. I started with a base of Crumb Cake and used the small dot from the set Work of Art and stamped in Crumb Cake. A small strip of Calypso Coral separates the top from the bottom. I added some Seam Binding and Pearls and stamped the sentiment from the set Sweet Essentials.
Hope you have a good day!
I am back again to share another card. I sent this one to my brother a while back. A while ago I chose the set Life’s Adventures with my hostess dollars because I love the stamps in this set and I don’t really have anything like it. I stamped the fox and then used the Blender Pens to color it. I kept this card pretty simple over all since it was for my brother.

Hello and welcome back for another round of the Creation Station blog hop! I am so excited to be sharing some Halloween projects with you! For my first project, I created a couple treats bags. We never really hand out candy on Halloween, but my little niece and nephew and a few other kids usually stop by. I like creating small treat bags for them as an extra personalized touch. I had these small lunch sacks left over from a previous project and decided to pull those out. While these are not Stampin’ Up!, Stampin’ Up! does have the cutest little café bags in the new Holiday catalog! Be sure to check those out. Whenever I am decorating bags, I always pull out tons of supplies and just use whatever I have, including retired merchandise.
Hope you are having a great day! Only a couple more days till the weekend! While we were on vacation last week, I read a couple books. I love laying in the camper after a long day of hiking with the canvas open and reading a good book. Sometimes I have a hard time branching out from the authors I usually read, but I took a chance and downloaded a book by R.S. Grey. For the longest time, I couldn’t figure out what category my reading style fell into. Well, I have been reading a lot of New Adult books and I am hooked. The first book I read was “With This Heart” and I enjoyed it so much that I then downloaded her other book “Behind His Lens“.
I think the characters were very believable and developed really well. Both books got good reviews on Amazon. Check them out if you are looking for a good read!
So my mom brought some stuff over the other night and one of the things she brought me was a box of old stamps. I had totally forgot about these until I saw them again, but they brought back some memories. I can remember my brother and I getting these out and asking my mom if we could stamp. She would give us an old green ink pad and let us play. She kept the stamps in an old cigar box which was had some random Coca-Cola stickers stuck all over it.
There are some pretty neat stamps in this box. It is fun to see something from my childhood that translates into my passion today =)
Hope you are having a good week so far! I came across a new challenge blog, Fusion Card Challenge and I could not wait to play along! I love their “Fusion” concept. I decided to use both the sketch and the photo inspiration to create a fusion card. I pulled the colors, Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate from the photo. Since I did not have any DSP, I used a sponge dauber and white craft ink to create the polka dot pattern. For my flower, I layered several circle punched from vellum cardstock and then used some twine to stitch a stem. Thanks for stopping by!
