We are back for round two of the Creation Station Blog Hop! This round we are featuring the new stamp set called Work of Art. Most demonstrators received this stamp set FREE by attending the Catalog Premier at the end of April. I will admit that when we saw the set during the Catalog Premier, I was kind of on the fence about it. I am usually a Clean and Simple kinda gal so I usually like stamps with clean lines and crisp images. But, after playing with the set and creating a couple projects, I am sold! This is such a great set because it is so versatile. You can use it to make masculine or kid cards and there is a couple great sentiments in this set so you can mix and match.
So onto the projects! For my first card, I used the little circle stamp in the set. It is a stamp that can easily be missed, but don’t overlook it! I created a simple background here featuring the circle stamp. I lightly drew a grid on my cardstock in pencil and measured off every .75 inches. Where the lines crossed, I stamped the circle in Versamark and the added some clear embossing powder to give the background a glossy look.
I then created a focal point in the bottom right corner by using the Thank You from the set Four You and the Labels Collection Framelits. I also added some Coastal Cabana Ruffled Ribbon (which will be retiring June 2) and a retired brad.
For the second card, I used the stamp set in more of a straight forward way. I stamped the brushstroke stamp in Baked Brown Sugar, Pool Party and Calypso Coral. Next, I stamped the Hello from the set Four You and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and be sure to hop along to the next one! There are a lot of great projects along the way! Be sure to come back in two weeks for Round Three of the Creation Station!

I’m a polka dot lover Kallan – so the first card sucked me right in! I like how you used the circle image – not in a watercolor way at all! Fantabulous!
You had my at the polka dots! Totally cute cards and I can’t WAIT to get my hands on this stamp set after seeing all the ways it can be used.
Another polka dot lover here! Loving your choice of colors too!
The distressed dots make for a great background. Nice!
Great backgrounds using the polka dots and brush strokes, Kallan!
Excited to see your projects! Thanks for sharing!
Love the clear embossed polka dot background you created and your second card is so unique using the Work of Art as a “paintbrush”. Love it!
