Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday Word Bubble

Hello!

I created this card for a very special person =) This card is for my cousin and BFF, she is the one who first introduced me to stampin’. I also must give credit where credit is due and got some inspiration for this card from Amy O’Neill’s blog. I started out with a base of Crumb Cake and added a small Whisper White layer and then then another Crumb Cake layer stamped with the Chevron background stamp. Next, I used the Word Bubble framelits and cut one out from some Melon Mambo cardstock and used the Small Heart Punch. The Happy Birthday is from the set Wishes Your Way. A couple Candy Dots finish off the card. This card is also for the challenge Seize the Birthday! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Memorable Moments Birthday

Hello!

My cousin’s birthday was this weekend so I used the challenge at Seize the Birthday to create a card for her. The challenge was to create a birthday card and use numbers so I pulled out the Memorable Moments stamp set. I used the colors Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo. The happy birthday stamp is from the set Made For You and I added a small Baker’s Twine bow. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Floral Fusion

Hello!

I hope you had a great Christmas! I created a quick card for the challenge at Create With Connie and Mary. I started out with a base of Chocolate Chip and then added a bit of retired DSP backed with a layer of Melon Mambo. I pulled out some retired felt flowers from a catalog from long ago. I stamped the sentiment from the set Made For You on a Very Vanilla flag. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday with Baked Brown Sugar

Hello!

I created a simple birthday card for the sketch challenge at Stampin’ Celebration. I started out with a base of Baked Brown Sugar (a new In-Color) and pulled out some old DSP in Calypso Coral. I added some Coastal Cabana ribbon underneath the DSP. I stamped the Happy Birthday from the set Made For You and cut it out with the Apothecary Arts framelits. I added a retired Very Vanilla button tied with some Linen Twine. The challenge over at SU Only is to create a Happy Birthday card so I am also linking this card up over there!

Stampin’ Up! Simple Thank You

Hello!

Well I have not been stamping much lately. Yesterday we went on a hike (you can see details here), but today I had some time to get in my stamp room. I liked the layout from the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary so I decided to go with that. I wanted to use a color combination that I have not used lately so I pulled out some Baked Brown Sugar cardstock and added some retired Sale-A-Bration DSP. I stamped the Thank you from the set Made For You in Calypso Coral and stamped it on a piece of Very Vanilla. I punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch and added a retired Very Vanilla button. Pretty simple! Thanks for stopping by!

Several Cards Today!

Hello and Happy 4th of July! Hope you have a great holiday! A day off work means some time to get crafty in my stamp room so I have several projects to show you that I wanted to submit before the deadlines end.

The first is for the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges. The theme this week is hexagons and after just receiving my new hexagon items from Stampin’ Up! I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I punched out several hexagons using the new Stampin’ Up! hexagon punch from some retired Old Olive textured card stock. I arranged those on a layer of Coastal Cabana. I pulled out the awesome sentiment from last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit and added a new Old Olive Candy Dot.

The next card I made was based on the sketch from Retro Sketches. I started out with a base of Basic Gray and added a layer embossed with the Mosiac embossing folder. I still had some Orchid Opulence  cardstock laying on my desk from a previous color challenge seen HERE so I layered the main Whisper White panel on that. I pulled out the medallion stamp from the set Lacy & Lovely and stamped it three times and punched out two layers and popped it up with some dimensionals. I used the same sentiment as the above card. I really do love that sentiment =)

Ok, finally the last project for today. Today is actually my mom’s birthday so I decorated a kraft gift box from Stampin’ Up! to put a gift card in. I can remember from when I was younger that she never wanted anything red, white or blue for her birthday, so I pulled out some retired Sent With Love DSP that focuses on Pool Party and Calypso Coral. I punched out some scallops and spritz then with water to crumple them up to make a flower. I added a retired white button tied with some Calypso Coral Bakers Twine. I finally I created a little tag using the new Chalk Talk Framelits. The sentiment comes from the set Made For You. The challenge at Stampin’ Royalty is Anything Goes so I will be submitting this cute little box over there. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great holiday!

Stampin’ Up! Back In Time

Hello!

So I found the stunning color challenge at The Play Date Cafe, and had to go “back in time” and pull out the retired colors Purely Pomegranate and Taken With Teal for the color challenge. I started with a base of Smoky Slate and stamped the ink splatters from the new set Gorgeous Grunge in Versamark. I then stamped the stripes from the same set in Basic Gray. I pulled out  the hexagons from the set Six Sided Sampler and popped them up on Dimensionals. I added a bit of Baker’s Twine and a retired silver brad. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Madness

Hello!

I have just a quick post for you today. I created this card using the new In Color Coastal Cabana. It pairs really nicely with Rich Razzleberry. I ran a piece of Rich Razzleberry through the Big Shot with the Mosaic Embossing Folder and then stamped two of the mosaics and punched them out with the coordinating punch. I just love this product suite because everything coordinates. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mosiac Madness Sneak Peek

Hi There!

Happy Sunday! I have another sneak peek to show you today! I am in love with this suite my Stampin’ Up! There is a stamp set, a punch and an embossing folder that all coordinate. I used the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays as my inspiration. I chose Kraft, bling and embossing. I started out with a base layer of the New In Color Coastal Cabana and added a layer of Whisper White. Next, on the layer of Crumb Cake (Kraft). I embossed the bottom half with the new mosaic embossing folder and added a bit of White Baker’s Twine to cover the seam. I also stamped a couple mosaic stamps in Crumb Cake. On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped a mosaic in Coastal Cabana and punched it out with the new coordinating punch. I added a bit of bling with a Rhinestone. On a flag, I stamped the sentiment in Crushed Curry (a new core color). All of these new products will be available when the new catalog debuts! Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! New Colors!!

Hello!

I have a sneak peek for you today of a couple new colors!!! What makes a vacation coming to an end not so sad…? I box of new Stampin’ Up! goodies waiting for you when you get home! I kept this card simple and focused on the colors. The first awesome new color is Smoky Slate. Oh how I am already in love with this light gray color. I used Smoky Slate as my base and embossed it with an ah-mazing new Stampin’ Up! embossing folder! I then created a banner using the In Color Summer Starfruit and stamped the Seriously from my Paper Pumpkin kit in the same color. Do you see the other new In Color? The gorgeous aqua color is called Coastal Cabana. I really think this color is going to pair nicely with so many of our current colors. I then stamped the thank you in Coastal Cabana. Oh and I also used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
