Stampin’ Up! Endless Birthday Wishes

Hi!

So you know every month Stampin’ Up! releases a new photopolymer stamp set. One that they released a while ago was the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set. I finally got around to getting it and I am so glad I did. The main stamp of this set is the little cake below which is so fun to color with Blender Pens or even Blendabilities. But that’s not all, the set comes with so many fabulous words! You can create so many different phrases and greetings.

So the card below was cased from Kimberly Van Dipen. Her style is so amazing so be sure to check out her blog HERE! I used the stamp from the set Work of Art to loosely color the cake and then also used the chevron stamp from the same set. I am in love with that font! The card is mounted on a piece of Old Olive and a base of Pool Party.

Stampin’ Up! Work of Art Thank You!

Hello!

I wanted to share another card I made over the weekend with you! I have been neglecting my Another Thank You stamp set which is just sad. It is a great stamp set! I used the large thank you stamp and stamped it in Basic Gray. Then I pulled out the stamps from the set Work of Art and stamped them in Pool Party, Lucky Limeaid and Sahara Sand. I layered it on a base of Pool Party.

Stampin’ Up! Polka Dot Congrats

Hello!

I hope your weekend is going well so far! I needed a congratulations card to send to someone who recently retired. I used the small dot from the set Work of Art to create a polka dot background which was layered on a piece of retired Summer Starfruit and Basic Gray. Next, I added a cut out from a set of framelits with a Smoky Slate banner on top. A small flower with a rhinestone completes the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Polka dot congrats

Stampin’ Up! Work of Art

Hello!

Hope you are having a good week so far. We are almost to the weekend! So I wanted to share a card with you that was a make-n-take at my last Stampin’ Night. I think this was the favorite one of the night. I used the new Work of Art stamp set which is fabulous! I started with a base of Coastal Cabana and stamped in Bermuda Bay, Lucky Limeaid and Coastal Cabana. I added a simple strip of Whisper White cardstock that I stamped with a stamp I got from a previous My Paper Pumpkin kit.

Round Two: The Creation Station Blog Hop!

Creation Station Header-001

We are back for round two of the Creation Station Blog Hop! This round we are featuring the new stamp set called Work of Art. Most demonstrators received this stamp set FREE by attending the Catalog Premier at the end of April. I will admit that when we saw the set during the Catalog Premier, I was kind of on the fence about it. I am usually a Clean and Simple kinda gal so I usually like stamps with clean lines and crisp images. But, after playing with the set and creating a couple projects, I am sold! This is such a great set because it is so versatile. You can use it to make masculine or kid cards and there is a couple great sentiments in this set so you can mix and match.

So onto the projects! For my first card, I used the little circle stamp in the set. It is a stamp that can easily be missed, but don’t overlook it! I created a simple background here featuring the circle stamp. I lightly drew a grid on my cardstock in pencil and measured off every .75 inches. Where the lines crossed, I stamped the circle in Versamark and the added some clear embossing powder to give the background a glossy look.

I then created a focal point in the bottom right corner by using the Thank You from the set Four You and the Labels Collection Framelits. I also added some Coastal Cabana Ruffled Ribbon (which will be retiring June 2) and a retired brad.

For the second card, I used the stamp set in more of a straight forward way. I stamped the brushstroke stamp in Baked Brown Sugar, Pool Party and Calypso Coral. Next, I stamped the Hello from the set Four You and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and be sure to hop along to the next one! There are a lot of great projects along the way! Be sure to come back in two weeks for Round Three of the Creation Station!
