Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday Owl

Hello!

Whelp, we officially have a lot of snow….I created this card over the weekend for the sketch at Retro Sketches. My cousin’s baby girl will be turning one next month and wanted to make her a birthday card. Her birthday party theme is pink and orange with owls. I started out with a base of Early Espresso and added a strip of retired DSP. Next, I used the scallop and circle punch to create a focal image and stamped the owl from the set Fox & Friends in pumpkin Pie. Instead of a ribbon like the sketch called for, I switched it out for a flag that I stamped happy birthday on from the set Moving Forward. Finally, I added a couple small brads. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Moving Forward

Hello!

Almost to the end of the week! I have a quick card to share with you for the color challenge at the Color Throwdown. I pulled out the retired set Moving Forward and colored the boat with the coordinating markers. I stamped the Pacific Point card with the retired set Crosshatch and layered the boat on a piece of Kiwi Kiss. I needed a sentiment so I pulled out the set Bitty Banners and punched it out with the coordinating framelit. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Stampin’ Up! Moving Forward

Hello!

I recently came across this challenge blog over at the Techno Stamper and wanted to play along. I decided to shorten the sketch a bit and made a square card with a Crumb Cake base. Next I added some Sycamore Street DSP. I colored the super cute blimp from the Stampin’ Up! set Moving Forward with Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise markers. I layered that one a piece of Crumb Cake and added a couple of Tempting Turquoise buttons and a bit of ribbon. The teeny tiny sentiment comes from the set Delightful Dozen and I colored just part of the stamp. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
