Stampin’ Up! Sneak Peek! You’ve Got This

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m back!!! Well I finally got everything settled and I am finally ready to stamp again! It has been way too long since I have last stamped and it has been really great to be creative again. I got my pre-order from the new catalog which will launch on June 2nd. I pulled out the new stamp set called You’ve Got This. I started with a base of Kraft cardstock and then layered a piece Typeset DSP on Basic Black. Next, I stamped the flower in Melon Mambo. A retired Coastal Cabana tied with some Linen Thread completes the card.

So this was a set that I was not sold on originally, but I am so glad I got it. The set has some really great sayings and a great crosshatch background. Be sure to check it out!

Happy stampin!

Stampin’ Up! Owl Baby Card

Hi again!

My cousin recently had a baby and I needed to get a card in the mail A.S.A.P! I made this quick 3×3 card to send to her. I layered a piece of Melon Mambo that was embossed with the large circle embossing folder and layered on a piece of Kraft cardstock. Next, I stamped the owl from the retired set Fox & Friends in Melon Mambo and layered it on a Coastal Cabana scallop and added two Daffodil Delight banners that were punched with the small banner punch. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Cards

Hi!

So today I wanted to share my Christmas card this year. Every year I really enjoy designing my Christmas card and making them. In total, I make about 50, which is not too overwhelming. This year, I chose my favorite Kraft cardstock base and then embossed a piece of luscious Blackberry Bliss with the Mosaic Embossing Folder. I added a champagne glitter paper star (even thought it doesn’t look champagne in the picture!). Finally, the sentiment is from the set Good Greetings.

I also wanted to share a Christmas card that my friend make. She used a Crumb Cake card base and some DSP from the Holiday Catalog. To keep this card quick and easy, she used the Banner Framelit to make cutting the banners a snap. A bit of Baker’s Twine and a Glimmer star bring the card all together. I think she did an amazing job! It is so nice to get hand made Christmas cards!

Stampin’ Up! Something Lacy – 2015 Occasions Catalog

Hello!

Well I got my preorder from the new 2015 Occasions Catalog the other day and have had a lot of fun playing with the new products. One stamp set that I got was the background stamp called Something Lacy. I first stamped the stamp in the black Memento ink. I then used the Blendabilties to color the stamp. So this was my first time ever using Stampin’ Up!’s Blendabilities and actually first time ever using an alcohol based marker. I am in love! The ink lays down on the paper so smooth. It is so much fun to color with these markers. For this card, I used Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Old Olive, but I can’t wait to get more colors!

Stampin’ Up! Endless Birthday Wishes

Hi!

So you know every month Stampin’ Up! releases a new photopolymer stamp set. One that they released a while ago was the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set. I finally got around to getting it and I am so glad I did. The main stamp of this set is the little cake below which is so fun to color with Blender Pens or even Blendabilities. But that’s not all, the set comes with so many fabulous words! You can create so many different phrases and greetings.

Endless Birthday Wishes

So the card below was cased from Kimberly Van Dipen. Her style is so amazing so be sure to check out her blog HERE! I used the stamp from the set Work of Art to loosely color the cake and then also used the chevron stamp from the same set. I am in love with that font! The card is mounted on a piece of Old Olive and a base of Pool Party.

Stampin’ Up! Perfect Pennants Treat Bag

Hello!

I love creating a little something extra special for my friend’s birthdays. The decorated the little bag below and filled it with some candy for by BFF’s birthday. Forgive me for the random background, I snapped the picture really quick before I gave it to her LOL. I stamped the bottom of the bag with the Dotty Angles stamp set and heat embossed with Whisper White Embossing Powder. The lollie was created using Basic Gray Cardstock and then I heat embossed the sentiment from the set Perfect Pennants on Coastal Cabana.

I think a little something extra can really make a person’s day so I challenge you to make something extra special for a friend’s birthday rather than just a Facebook message =)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Stampin’ Up! Life’s Adventures Featuring Fox

Hi there!

I am back again to share another card. I sent this one to my brother a while back. A while ago I chose the set Life’s Adventures with my hostess dollars because I love the stamps in this set and I don’t really have anything like it. I stamped the fox and then used the Blender Pens to color it. I kept this card pretty simple over all since it was for my brother.

Stampin’ Up! One Tag Fits All

Hello!

I have another 3×3 card to share today. I love these little things, they are just the right amount of cute to make someone feel special. For this card, I designed a birthday card by using the cake from the new set One Tag Fits All that will be in the new 2015 Occasions Catalog. The stamp comes with a sentiment, but I trimmed it off and created two stamps so I could just stamp the cake repeatedly in Baked Brown Sugar. The sentiment is one that I have been hanging onto from the set Essentials. I like that it is a masculine font.

I think this card makes a quick and easy masculine birthday card. What do you think?

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Banners

Hi!

Last night I had some friends over for a stampin’ night. We usually make three to four cards and here is one that we made last night. It was roughly cased from a sample in the new 2015 Sale A Bration brochure. I started out with a base of Kraft cardstock and cut out banners using the framelits in Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. I stamped the Happy Birthday in Real Red and that stamp is from the retired set Essentials. A Real Red Candy Dot adds a bit of fun to the card while keeping it masculine.

Stampin’ Up! Sneak Peak

Hello!

Hope you are having a good weekend so far. I have another sneak peak from the 2015 Occasions catalog! Once again, I made a card using the new set One Tag Fits All. I stuck with the 3×3 design and this time used the set featuring the love banners. How cute are these little banners?! I stamped the stamp twice and then used a Blender Pen to add a bit of color.

For this stamp, the banner and the words come on one stamp. I cut the banner and the words apart creating two stamps essentially. I like doing this to make the stamp more versatile and then you can position the words any way that you like. For this card, I stamped the words in Melon Mambo and then turned that into a flag and popped it up.

My coloring could use a bit of improvement…maybe if I had some Blendabilties it would look better?! Might need to add those to my wishlist! Thanks so much for stopping by!
