Stampin’ Up! Raining Flowers

Hi!

I have another card to share with you today! I love the set Raining Flowers and even though it is retired, I wanted to make a card with it =) Of course, I started with kraft cardstock as my base and then embossed another layer with the large circle embossing folder.  I fussy cut the flower to popped the pieces up with Dimensionals. The sentiment is from the retired set Apple Blossoms. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Spring Card for 4 Crafty Chicks

Hello!

Well, this is my last card as a guest designer for the 4 Crafty Chicks. While I am sad to see this end, I have really enjoyed participating in the challenges. The challenge for this week was to create a spring card so flowers always remind me of spring. I started with a base layer of Crumb Cake and stamped the Dictionary background stamp in Crumb Cake. Next, I stamped the flower from the set Simple Stems and added a Melon Mambo candy stop to the flower. The sentiment comes from the retired set Apple Blossoms. Next, I added a small piece of Basic Gray cardstock and tucked a bit of Melon Mambo Scalloped ribbon underneath that. Next, a piece of Old Olive DSP was added and then finally a button tied with some Baker’s Twine.

The current challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks is to use a bow so I created a card featuring a bow. I started out with a base of Basic Gray and added some retired Pool Party DSP. I stamped the dahlia from the set Regarding Dahlia in Summer Starfruit and added a satin ribbon bow. Be sure to play along with the challenge this week! Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Apple Blossoms

Hello!

Tonight I created a card for the sketch as CAS(E) this Sketch. I started out with a base layer of Pool Party, my favorite color and then on a layer of whisper white, I stamped the circles from the set Apple Blossoms (retired) in Crumb Cake. I punched two flowers with the 5-Petal Flower punch out of Crumb Cake and then sponged with a bit of Crumb Cake ink around the edges. I added a Pool Party button from Sale-A-Bration to the middle and tied a bit of twine in the middle. A bit of Pool Party ribbon from Sale-A-Bration and the sentiment from the set Apple Blossoms finished off the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ UP! World Treasures

Hello!

Today I created a card for the Fab Friday challenge. I started out with a base of Pool Party cardstock and added a layer of Basic Gray that I embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I then used the Labels Collection Framelits and stamped the flower image from the set World Treasures. The sentiment “Happy thoughts make happy days” comes from the set Apple Blossoms. I stamped that in Basic Gray on a flagged piece of Crumb Cake. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Bunch

Hi!

Wow, there are a lot of great challenges out there this week. I really hope I get time to play along with all the ones I liked. Over at the Pals Paper Arts, they have an awesome color combination, Melon Mambo, Basic Gray & Basic Black. I pulled out my Mixed Bunch stamp set and stamped the flowers in Basic Gray. The sentiment comes from the set Apple Blossoms. I added a bit of retired satin ribbon to finish off the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin Up! Just a little Note

Hello,

Hope you are having a good weekend. Today I have a card for the sketch over at Retro Sketches.  The base of my card is Old Olive and then I added another piece of Old Olive that I ran through the Big Shot using the Striped embossing folder. I then cut the Pool Party shape from the Apothecary Arts framelits set as well as the Calypso Coral piece. I added a In Color brad and used the Decorative Label punch. The sentiment came from a retired set Apple Blossoms. I added some Pool Party seam binding and a bit of sheer ribbon that came from the Sale-a-bration catalog. I loved this sketch, it was just so cute and help me think outside the box! Thanks for looking!
