Stampin’ Up! Holiday Gift Tags

Hello!

So I recently started a new job and I wanted to make a small little gift for my new teammates. I bought some Dove chocolate, and while I am not a huge chocolate person, man those caramel filled ones are AH-Mazing! So I put the chocolates in clear cello bag and added a little tag. I still have tons of Kraft cardstock scraps left over from my Christmas cards so this was a perfect time to use some more of those scraps! I used the smallest star framelit from the Stars Framelits collection and punched those out in the Champagne Glimmer Paper. Those were then backed on small circle punched from Very Vanilla. I then tied the simple tags on to the bags with some Linen Thread. Simple and easy!

Stampin’ Up! Chevron Gift Bags

Hi There!

I had some friends over for the new catalog premier party last night. It was a lot of fun! Be sure to check in this week as I will be sharing some examples of the cards that we created featuring a lot of the new products! As a little thank you for attending, I made some little gift bags using the Chevron Gift Bags from Stampin’ Up! I think this is a product that can easily be overlooked, but don’t! You can get 10 of these bags for just $3.95! These would be perfect for wedding or baby shower favors or even cute packaging for a gift card. I cut out a Melon Mambo banner with the Banner Framelits and added a Tea Lace Doily on top. In the middle is a 2.5″ Coastal Cabana circle with the hello from the new set HI There is embossed with white embossing powder. It is all held on the bag with a cute mini clothespin. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Baby Shower Cupcake Toppers

Hello!

I have a cute project to show you today. My cousin is having a baby shower this weekend and I was tasked to make some cute decorations for the cupcakes. You may remember the invitation we created for her that I posted a while back. You can see it here. He colors are green and navy and of course chevron! I made three styles of toppers. One Has a Night of Navy background with an owl from the retired set Fox & Friends. The second topper has a Lucky Limeaid (retired) background and the middle stamped with a chevron stamp that I got from a My Paper Pumpkin kit. The Sweet Baby banners if from the set Itty Bitty Banners and of course I used the coordinating framelits to cut it out! Super easy! Finally, the last one has a Whisper White background and it was stamped with the same chevron stamp. I cut out a “D” with an e-cutter and attached it to a Lucky Limeaid circle. The punch that I used is from the Christmas catalog which I love. I was originally going to use a scallop, but chose this one instead since it is a bit more masculine. I also have to make a banner for the shower so check back in later this week for pictures! Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Group of Owls is called a….

PARLIAMENT! Did you know that? I confess, I had to google it, but that it what I have on my hands at the moment =) My second cousin’s first birthday party is tomorrow and I had the honor of making treat bags for the kids. With a little bit of help from Pinterest, I created these cute little owl bags. I wanted something quick and simple because I didn’t have a lot of time to make them and they will only last a short while since the kids will eventually rip them open.

Owl bag

I used the Top Note Die from Stampin’ Up and used Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango cardstock. I punched out some eyes with the circle punches and a small heart for the nose. On the girl owls, I added a little bow with some retired ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! Gift Bag using Banners

Hello!

I just wanted to share a quick little gift bag I made for my niece that is turning 1 today! I used the new set available during Sale-A-Bration called Banner Blast and the coordinating punch. I stamped the banners on Melon Mambo, Whisper White and Tangerine Tango cardstock. I also stamped the little heart in the same set in Crumb Cake onto the bag. Thanks for stopping by!

Owl Baby Shower Invitation

Hello!

I have a super cute project to show you today. So my cousin is quite the stamper/crafter and she came up with this adorable owl invitation for a baby shower. She always has the most creative ideas. Of course, Pinterest always lends a bit of inspiration. I was lucky enough to help out with the assembly processes so I just had to show you. The owl’s body is Crumb Cake, a great neutral that allows all the other colors to pop. The eyes are Whisper White and Early Espresso and super easy to make since they were punched with circle punches. The nose is made from the Small Heart Punch and is from Pumpkin Pie cardstock. To make the wings, my cousin hand drew a template and then used that to trace and cut out all the wings. The inner part of the wing is made from Old Olive cardstock that was embossed with the Square Lattice folder. The wings are also attached with brads so that the wings can open and reveal the wording. Finally, and Island Indigo circle frames all the details for the big event! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope that this awesome invitation inspires you to make something handmade for your next big event!

DIY Post-It Note Holder

Hey!

I had a super simple project I wanted to share with you! I can’t take the credit, my cousin made it for me and she said she found the idea on Pinterest, of course! First off, you need a plastic photo frame which you can usually find at a dollar store. Next, is to choose your favorite Designer Series Paper and slide it in where the picture would go. Finally, add some embellishments and a set of Post-It Notes and it is ready to go! Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Hour

Hello!

Hope you are having a good Saturday! This morning we went to Strut Your Mutt which is a fundraiser for homeless dogs in the area. It was a lot of fun to see all the different breeds of dogs, but I think my pup was tired out afterward. Looks pretty comfortable…right?

It was nice to be outside on such a nice day, but now it is starting to rain so I came inside and there is no better time to stamp! I have had my eye on the sketch at Seize the Sketch for a while now and am just getting to it with a couple hours left on the deadline. My friend is going on vacation to Mexico in a couple weeks for her anniversary so I thought a card would be nice. I kept this card fun and tropical by using the colors Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeaid (retired). I embossed a piece of Coastal Cabana which the Chevron embossing folder and added a flag stamped with Cheers from the set Happy Hour. Using my markers, I colored the drink and layered it on a large scallop punch.

I also wanted to share my fall wreath with you. I have a basic grape vine wreath that I just switch out the accents for each theme/holiday. I bought some of the autumn berry accessories from Michael’s and tied those onto the wreath. The awesome burlap flowers are courtesy of my amazing cousin. She made a whole bunch of these for a bridal shower. She was so sweet to give me a couple and they added the perfect finish touch to the wreath. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Kraft Gift Box

Hello!

So I created this cute little gift box for a bridal shower gift. These kraft gift boxes from Stampin’ Up! are so perfect to put a gift card in. They come in a pack of four and are $2.95. I wrapped some retired Sycamore Street DSP around the box and added a retired Pop Up Posie to the top of the box. I cut a tag out from the new framelits Chalk Talk and stamped the sentiment from the Pop Up Posies kit in Soft Suede. A bit of ribbon completed the box.

I made this box to go with the card shown HERE! I think it will make a cute little gift for the soon to be bride. I am also submitting this for the Anything Goes challenge at Stampin’ For the Weekend.
