Stampin’ Up! Sent With Love Card

Hi!

Hope you are having a fabulous Friday! Only a couple more hours till the weekend! This past week I made a card for my cousin and fellow stampin’ friend. She gets to travel to the UK for work. I thought I would send her a card and wish her safe travels and a good time. Since my style is fairly clean and simple, this card was a bit more busy than most of the ones I create. Some demonstrators are so great at layering tons of elements and creating an amazing card. I think this is about as far as I get into lots of layers LOL. I really do like how the card turned out though. I used some retired DSP, Sent with Love and the coordinating stamp set. Pretty much everything on this card is retired excited for the doily, but you have to use the product up somehow right?

I also created a card with “lots of layers”  for the next Creation Station Blog Hop which will go live on Sunday so be sure to come back and check it out! Have a great day and happy stamping!

Stampin’ Up! Sent With Love

Hello!

Tonight I have a card I created with the new Sent With Love stamp set and coordinating DSP. I started with a base of Basic Gray and then added a piece of DSP. I stamped the cute little airplane in Basic Gray and Calypso Coral and layered it on a piece Calypso Coral that I cut out using the Labels Collection Framelits. I added a bit of Island Indigo ribbon and stamped the Congratulations from the set Delightful Dozen. I started out trying to use the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, but then I had to flip the layers that the airplane is on. It is still pretty close to the original sketch though =) Thanks for stopping by!
